I agree that the Intel news may of had something to do with the sell-off. The concepts are somewhat related, but Intel's chip can be used to "track" people through the internet, whereas NRI's product (and biometrics in general) are used only to identify the person for purposes of a transaction, not to track them. To be honest, I don't know what effect, if any, the Intel announcements had on NRI, but I would not discount the possibility. That having been said, biometrics in general will suffer some public backlash. You can count on it. Especially from the fingerprint side of the equation, as fingerprints have the stigma of being associated with law enforcement, and by association, criminals. Whatever is going on: Gateway, major distribution, sales...We'll know soon enough. And as always, after everyone else.
