Investor conference:

I just returned from an investor conference sponsored by one of the nation's larger banks. Andrew Tobias was the featured speaker and also moderator of a distinguished panel of bankers.
I was surprised to see the emphasis placed on Y2k implications. Tobias said he found Y2k 'worrisome'. "The more you look into it, there really is a pretty big problem with Y2k." He especially alluded to the 'just in time' manufacturer's parts inventories which could be seriously compromised by Y2k disruptions.
A panelist echoed Tobias' concerns. His worry was that investors would start to get really spooked by Y2k in August or September and shift away from the market.
It's truly amazing that TAVA remains comparatively rooted in the starting gate. It should be well up in the teens by now.
