Yes, sell the 2001's sometime between May and July of the year 2000. There is often a market top in July or August so right around the time of the July annual meeting or August earnings would probably give you your best price, but you can see.
Then, if you dont need the money, wait for a pullback and buy the 2002 or 2003's. The pullback (as you well know by now) will come in Oct but there might be one in late Aug early Sept. When the price of DELL dips, thats your pullback and time to buy more LEAPS!
