of late, the stocks that I bought and have sold, have jumped up more than 20% in three months. if I only had a little more patience... and everytime I look at GEMS, I'm ready to sell it, yet, using my reverse psychology, I'm going to hold this one.

the downside is minimal and they're a great company. paging is part of life. many people don't want to carry cell phones - too expensive still.

so I'm going to hold onto GEMS till June. If it does indeed spiral down, then it'll be my 1999 write-off.

Louis: Thanks again for your extra kind comments. You and I started investing in GEMS at the same moment in time. I used AIM, so I averaged down and also sold shares when there were profits. I have more shares than I wish, at the moment, but if I had more cash I'd own even more. At some point I stopped buying more so I didn't have buys near the recent lows. Someday I hope I'll be sorry I didn't keep buying all the way down. :)
