Here's an article on DSL installation (at ZDNet, no less). Thought the thread might be amused to read it.

The final paragraphs (below) draw a slightly bizarre conclusion - the whole article is clearly implying that this technology is not ready for prime time (if it ever can be - which many on this thread doubt).

I have the @HOME service and it's fantastic.....A++++++++

Forget AOL it sucks big time.I would never go back and I have personally seen all of my friends who once had AOL switch over to the @HOME service.My friends had to wait 3 weeks before someone could get out to install the service ,THEY ARE BOOKED AS FAR AS THE EYE CAN SEE..........BUY BUY BUY
