IOW- it's a TLA (three letter acronym<g>) for "in other words".

DSO- days sales outstanding. these are simply the number of days of account receivables computed by dividing the number of days in a quarter by the number of AR turns (accounts receivable turns). AR turns is a figure arrived at by dividing sales for the quarter by the average amount of accounts receivable for the quarter- the numbers tell you how good they are on collections. The higher the turns, and the lower the DSOs, the better.
