Insider info? Are you suggesting something illegal is going on? At large companies, most of the incentives are set up to discourage the release of insider information. Yes, it happens sometimes, but not all that often.

You conclude, in a stock with great fundamentals the little guy is better off to buy and hold.

Or even just buy an index fund and pay as little attention to the market as possible. The last few years, that would have worked well.
