Well, I'm not a trader.
My stop loss may have been a mistake from a trading point of view, but from my point of view (where I wanted to be in $$$ terms vs. a direction the stock may have been heading), it wasn't. Problem was, I had to leave for 2 hours and got screwed when a bunch traders (or MMs) took a dive.
Now, I want to get back in. I'm not willing to ante up quite so much as before at a higher level, because I think I may be able to get in lower, but I want to be IN. So, I bought back a portion in case my assumption of a lower price is wrong, and I'm holding some for a pullback. IF the pullback doesn't materialize, I'm still in...and I can look for other investments (I have a few anyway, that I'm interested in). If it DOES materialize, I may be able to get in and make a few bucks on the backside.

It may not be a trader's mentality...but it works for me.
