RE:" ID Prediction Intel will announce it has totally removed the ID function from it's chips. Major OEM's will follow by announcing none of their new offerings contain the old version of PIII. Privacy groups and politicians will laud Intel for their willingness to make this change. This will result in very positive press. I think Intel is that smart. They should have learned from past experience. ".... ---- I agree. Intel is not dumb. They will remove the ID all together and look like a white Knight in the process. Meanwhhile these Intelabees that blindly support all Intel policy will be made to look like stool pigeons. Jim
