As whimsically as you say this, Chip, I wholeheartedly agree. That's why I sold on Monday and will (probably) get back in when it gets back down to 12-12.5.

This wasn't a play so much as I needed to lock in the $14 price level for future plans with this money. I realize buying back in will put that money back in jeopardy, but I've seen it bounce back off of $12 often enough that I don't mind taking the chance. The STBI buyout does muddle things, though.

I do sincerely believe 3dfx's long term performance prospects are very bright. Still wondering when I'll have to wear 32-bit shades though.
