Paul,

You claimed MHz was real important for the AMD K7 . But now that Intel has 500 MHz Pentium IIIs out, MHz is not important.

Intel has created a distorted universe where the very top end of the MHz curve commands a very large price premium. As long as this paradigm remains, all CPU designers should be targeting MHz, above all else.
