My father's third wife's mother recently had a hip replacement, I don't remember how long it took her to get over it, but think she was walking in a week or so, and all better in a couple of months, and she is eighty.

I guess surgery has come a long way since I had my back operated on in '64. Still I hope this just goes away. I don't think it's a blockage as instead of happening when I'm doing physical work, walking seems to shorten the spell.
