No brees actually, if you really look into this subject of Heritage society feminist bashing, what you will find is, most debates today on these topics are defensive arguments on the part of the feminists. For example, the common theme is - Heritage society says, working women are bad, stay at home moms are good. Then the feminists respond. It is NEVER the other way around. The feminists/working women dont give a damn about stay at home moms as long as they just do their own thing and leave us alone, and stop with the preaching and advocating special tax breaks for themselves etc. I can tell you I never gave a second thought to those that made that choice UNTIL Dan Quayle went on TV and decided to make my life a cornerstone of the entire republican party. I have said before that many things have changed in the past 20 years and people dont seem to get that. I agree in the 70s that Dems were intrusive perhaps, and certainly feminists were. But that was then. Now, it is the right wing that is firing the first strike and everybody that doesnt fall in line is forced to vehemently defend their entire existence. When the right gets nailed to the coffin in 2000, a lot of this stupid rhetoric will die down and the country can focus on things that matter like fixing healthcare and schools (for everybody).
