Yes, the Koreans have done a great job in reducing the cost of the analog TV. But I bet the public will balk for decades because "consumable" levels will not reach the levels that we have now with a 50 year old technology ($189 color sets for example.) Is $4500 a consumable level? Is $3500, $2500? That will be the pricing that HDTV sets will be at for several years following the introduction of this new technology.
