He'll go down in history as only the second president in history to be impeached and tried because of his own stupid sexual behavior. Mr. Clinton failed to discredit independent counsel Kenneth W. Starr's investigation. The White House wrongly predicted that Republican efforts to impeach him would fail. You don't get an acquittal from a majority vote for your conviction. The only "if" is that if there are not 67 votes against him, he will not be forced out of office. The rest of the story on the disgrace of the lying, stupid, loser in the oval office has already been lived.
