I would agree with you on the time frame. As most people are aware
that the next two quarters will be flat, barring a surprise, that said
IMO VLSI is a deal. I usually start buying a little early though and
average down some before the turn happens. I held LSI too, I
started buying in the 13 $ area and down to 11. I sold after the break
above 20, I know I left money on the table but after the run it went
on from the Oct. lows, I can't complain. With the security and
wireless markets really starting to cook, I believe VLSI will do very
good, it will take some time though. So I have started a position here
and will add over the next two quarters. The only thing that will move
VLSI, short term, will be new product and or partner news.
