Reg,
Do you have more info on the transaction with respect to how BCE is acquiring the 20% of MBT? What does $24 stock issued from treasury means to MBT price? From the Saturday 13/99 National Post (Financial Post), the transaction has started last Thursday but the price did not move. MBT is supposed to buy back some of their shares. But the National Post article did not describe it as ordinary shares buy back. They instead called it "issuer bid for up to 14 Millions of its outstanding shares between $22 and $24". Can you or anybody else enlighten me on these transactions.
Thanks
