How'd everyone do today? I had a very good day... Got out of T.ATY on the upspike. It's now fallen back. Got 1 3/8 points out of PRFM. Still holding. ASCT showing signs of LIFE!!! Volume up. Someone's interested and I don't think it's just us. The trading pattern sure is weird, though. Lots of 1000 share blocks went through and bid/ask didn't budge. Anybody else notice that? Is there a rational explanation other than "MM games"? CD

GJC:XTON, The amount of frenzy that is being built up over XTON is simply unprecedented. Check out this link from Yahoo to see how many threads mention it: search.messages.yahoo.com Do a full text search for XTON on SI also. What does this tell me? Many small to medium sized positions were left overnight because the price movement was too small for most of the trading session. There are many many people looking to sell tomorrow morning. I am in that boat in at 3 9/16 and had an open order at 3 7/8 open all afternoon (as I was on the road). I think that we will have a spike in the morning (assuming all the hype has some success) but I would not be surprised by a sudden drop early in the trading session. This is my gut. I am trying to ignore all those promising double digits this week. The best advice by trader J is: Don't get emotional BUT listen to your gut. (seems almost paradoxical, but the most useful wisdoms often are. The explanation is that if the wisdon was transparant it would already be internalized. If this comment also seems paradoxical then this is just par for the course) Good Luck, Joe
