I heard Peter Canello speak in Manhattan last Friday - he likes the energy sector...his comment was along the lines that oil has fallen $12/bbl in the last 12 months and if it does that again in '99 you can fill your car up for free...he mentioned SLB in particular as very attractive. Our analysts like SLB, HAL, and DO. For various reasons they look for oil to recover towards the end of the year.
