This problem doesn't rival the ISP downtime issue, but I am an owner of several Micron pc's who expects good support.
However, several days ago I emailed an inquiry to the sales department from the Micron web site, asking a couple of simple questions (like who makes the 9.0 gig SCSI drive) about a system I had just configured and was thinking of purchasing, and I have yet to hear from anyone.
In the past I have had excellent service. Right now I'd say they've dropped the ball, when they can't even reply to their own website inquiry form!

since I slammed them the other day,
I would like to report that the parts
we needed did come in today as promised.
