The earning of $.06 confirmed with the technical pattern of the stock price. The stock will move up from here. Hold your stock tight.

I would love it if I could agree with you but it seems that most of what made the quarter profitable were not due to normal business but from one time things that won't happen again.

Additionally, next quarter we can look forward to additional one time charges as they reduce head count by 20% and reorganize.

I hope I'm completely wrong on this.

At least they didn't announce buying another company with stock.

I sold 50% of my holding, at 6 1/8 right before the close today. I am
not sure earnings are so great in spite of the 7cents versus 1. The revenues are down, and that is what counts, in my books. It looks like they got the earnings out from interst on investment and some one time gain. But, I will take it anyway it comes...

Go INPR...

Ghassan (still very long, and still very patient)

The way I see it they lost $.08 after one time gains...and why the restructuring and layoffs if they are turning the corner?

INPR's Quarterly numbers do not look very good !

The vast majority of the 6 cents DID not come
from sales revenue!!

It came from :

Interest income net 912
Gain on the sale of real estate 1,135
Gain on long-term investment 1,533

The UNEXPECTED $1.1 mill gain on the real estate came in
handy didn't it! Also, the gain on a long term investment was unexpected.

Take away these numbers and Inprise loses money!

Also, note that revenues are down and cost of revenues are up!

Not good.

Hold your stock tight.

Man, I don't know about that assessment. I for one didn't see anything particularly exciting. If not for the one time gains and other non-business events, they lost money! Inpr is going nowhere fast… I guess Delbert will revise this to a 12 quarter turnaround.
