lance, here's how i do the numbers.

current lgnd bid minus current warrant bid = x.
x minus 7.125 = current time value.

the warrants are a june, 2000 call so what is the time value?

check some other options and you'll see they want significant more than $1.5 or so for calls that are only six months out. this one's a leap so i think it's worth more. IMO.

lgndw will give you higher % gains or losses than the stock. more risk coupled w/ more reward. $1.50 time value, as was pointed out, isn't bad for 18 months out...
