<<Mo, did you see the CPQ CFO on CNBC today? >>

I saw that and I'm surprised not many on this thread are talking about it. First thing, the guy was a poor representation of the company, period. He looked scared and had something to hide. I also got the feeling that he couldn't wait for the interview to finish.

Mr. Hines asked him what will CPQ do to generate business from the net, kindda like IBM (referred to their commericals and how they dominate in marketing alone in that area,) Mr. Mason had no clue as to what to say.

Mr. Hines repeated the question, "how will you push companies out of your way, "rubbing elbows," to get at the front when it comes to providing internet related solutions?" Guess what his response was? "We have a botton on the keyboard that will direct customers to the Altavista webpage."

IBM is providing solutions form e-commerce to security, while CPQ is building buttons on the keyboard to direct customers to their search engine. WOW!!!!
