<<EOM (don't know what that means but it seems to be very much in vogue these days)>>

Surfer Dude:

EOM means Expecting Offerings of Money. It means that the writer believes his or her post is of such high information value to the other readers that the writer expects always fair but, hopefully, generous remuneration for the writers efforts.

Hope this helps. ...Tim ; )

PS: Are you, perchance, the same "Dude" whose life the biographical film, The Big Lebowsky, was a study of?

I guess that I have to stand up for the geeks in the crowd at the last lunch. First, she was from New York and had never ever posted on this thread before. Second, she was nice but attached. Third, we NEVER touched her, and if she says we did, she is lying. Fourth, just because you wouldn't have the courage to talk to her doesn't mean she didn't get some good answers out of the people at the lunch. As I remember it CDMQ would have no problem talking to anyone.

BTW EOM means End Of Message!!!
