Auric heard they might be aquired. Could be, however this business isn't worth the 100mil market cap reflected by their current stock price. GUMM is basicly a toll producer and packager of gum. Essentially they mix PIB polymer and some chemicals, extrude it and package it for other companies who sell it under their brand. Given the mo with their stock I'm sure something is up. however GUMM is a simple and rather unprofitable manufacturing business. They have a limited capacity to produce and if their business did take off they would need to invest in production/packagin equipment. Frankly it's a dog and should carry a valuation of 1/10. Max if your playing it long good luck. Just be a bit cautious and don't get stuck holding the bag. I can't get any shares through datek at this time so I'm on the side lines, however this stock is a pos and will eventually fall from orbit.

Max, I just checked NASD to see who's doing GUMM and GUNN ALLEN is at the top with 24% of the vol, followed by mash at 22 % and nite at 12%. Keep your eye on GUNN to see if they start to sell. Good luck with this one.
