Just read the last 2 lines of the rather long paragraph on Reply #106

I use more than one computer and while in one I am looking at a "chart" in the other may be looking at "financial and other news".

I use TA for "screening", and "final decision". If after deciding on "going in" and thinking I have a good "entry point", I find things go the other way, I try to limit my loss to no more than 10%. I like to "average up", never "average down" and do not try to "fight the tape"
