Mama, Yup, cash. I think if you are interested in a GM car, their credit card is the best deal around. I'm not, so it's a moot point. Some of the airline/hotel related ones used to be great. When I was working full time, I got one trip to Paris and Rome with all hotels from Diner's Club. That was a dandy. And Marriott sent me to Hawaii a couple of times. But those have gotten so cheesy now that they are not worth doing. A business class ticket to Europe used to be 80,000 miles on American. Now it is such a large number I can't even contemplate it. The GM one, though, gives 5%. However, I am not sure if you can really use it like cash for one of their cars or not. I wonder if you can still make your best deal and then show the voucher? If not, it's worthless.
