Thats a little troubling to me because the coasts cant change the makeup of the senate (the house, yes but not the senate). If true, that is actually a little reassuring to me, because the various religious right-wing nutcase outfits concentrate on altering the make-up of the House, as they feel they will be less successful in their efforts if they went after positions for which elections are held on a state-wide basis.
