Hey, Constipated Engel:

RE <<Since I bought AMD in the mid/high teens, not selling a $30+ was not a critical mistake - although it was a mistake.>>

Really! You should have known better to sell AMD, especially before quarterly reports and besides where are your stop losses? You essentially are down significantly. When a stock was once $30 and change and it is now 21 something, you have effective lost over a third of your investment. You have been a bad boy with your money. Mommy should give you a spanking.

Remember profit is your money not the market's money as a lot of investors like to think. It was not just a mistake, it was a CRITICAL MISTAKE.

On top of it all, you hate AMD. WHY have the stock other than to make a good profit - something you forfeited? Why take the risk? Pretty weird to me.

This really leads me to think that you have a rather careless investment style - not a sophisticated investor at all. But an emotional investor. Emotional people usually don't know what they're doing with a stock half the time. It is now obvious to me and many others that you are not a source of decent advice for the poor investing lambs out there. As everyone knows your posts on this thread screaming with the emotional forces of a AMD hater and an Intel hypester. I took one look at your profile and started laughing. I thought to myself: "Does he sing Looney Tunes??

Talking about emotional - Intel is your favorite subject. Well, I can see you riding that sucker down too. Especially since the entire semi-conductor sector is getting ready to head south and all the smart money boys are selling or thinking of selling - but NO- you will be thinking of all kinds of excuses for Intel on the bumpy road down.

Just thought I'd give you some advice before heading to bed

Regards

Steven
