I am glad that you didn't lose money on your play. After looking deeper into the earnings report and analyzing the AV announcement, I am less secure with my investment in cpq. I think that at least until earnings, Dell will have more forward momentum.

You are a little late on the naked puts. The real money has been made already at 35, 37 1/2 and 40 strikes as CPQ climbed out of the mid 20 cellar. Now it is going to be hard to earn gamblers money on covered calls and puts as CPQ slowly grinds it's way to 60.
