Portion of H&Q analysis of PRXL earnings announcement. Jeff << PRXL 2Q99: Laying Groundwork for Strong Recovery: Reiterate BUY PAREXEL reported 2Q99 earnings a penny below consensus estimates but generally in line with expectations. Accordingly, we have trimmed our FY99 earnings estimates slightly, from $0.98 to $0.93. Our FY00 estimate of $1.22 is unchanged. In our view, this 3rd consecutive quarter of record new business awards points to a strong recovery in the latter half of CY1999, with revenue and EPS growth rates exceeding current management guidance of 25%. >>
