Not always true. If I have time, I look at other's picks
and base an opinion. If I think it's good, I say so. Doesn't
mean I buy it. I'm usually fully invested and don't have
extra cash.

Today I posted news out on ANTX and bought after
that post. But I did have a position. I tripled it after the news.

A call to my broker and a check of the time I posted would
confirm it. FWIW

But in most cases, you are correct. However there have
been many times someone has recommended a stock to me
and I bought in lower then their buy.

Sells usually are not posted.

Happy investing!

To Bootz and anyone else who recommends unknown stocks on this thread:

I'm just curious as to whether any of you really care if any of us other investors make money off of your recommendations?

It is my opinion that you all invest your money (without telling anyone else) in a stock when you think the price is low. Then you recommend it to everyone in hopes that they will invest their money which will increase the price of the stock so you may sell it off for a quick profit.

Ron,

I appreciate your comments and concerns. If you'll do some of your own DD and look at some of the stocks I've mentioned or recommended, you'll have your answer and be able to judge for yourself.

For the record, here are some of the stocks I've mentioned recently: LUV, BELFB (and BELFA), CD, GX, TRID and ETEC, all of which I have shares in. My shares of LUV, CD and ETEC are bedrock and long. BELF A and B are a medium to long range play, as is GX (based on the forthcoming highway bill). TRID I'm watching, and could go either way on.

Speculative plays include ZAP, SLEU, MCNS and STVI (the latter again based on the highway bill, ie., $218 billion over six years). GMGC is another speculative high-tech play, which I don't think I've mentioned here.

TXI is another highway bill play which I'm presently eagle-eyeing but as yet am not in. As for ASYT and CYMI, look at their charts. Are they a good buy now? I don't know. Do your own DD. I don't own shares of either. But I do wish I had bought both, as I intended to, when they were at an all time low of 6 1/2 each. (Unfortunately, I could only afford CD at the time.)

LUV, CD and ETEC, to name but a few, are high-priced and heavily traded stocks. What you or anyone else on this thread does in regard to same won't affect my position whatsoever. (And at least they aren't pennies.)

Would you prefer I recommend stocks I've lost money on? OK, put your earnings on MDMI, CSMA (you can afford more, can't you?), JAWS, SETO, and ETPI, not to mention MBST and ERHC, and several symbols which are no longer traded.

Two other stocks you might want to keep an eye on are EPTG and DXR. Both have breakout potentials. I don't own a single share of either, although I continue to watch both.

I wish you the best in this business.

Now what stocks do you recommend?

Bootz

PS: My two latest tips are AMZN and MSFT. Don't say you saw it here, fer Gawd's sakes.
