got sick of reading some of the uninformed posts that appear on this thread. Finally joined si to respond. As stated on the stockwatch thread I know one of the directors of winspear closely. The results so far have met or exceeded expectations. AS predicted the cf results were widely misinterpreted by the average investor. The results were very significant and prove that winspear is sitting on a huge diamond bearing piece of kimberlite.
I would like to restate a piece of information that I posted on the stockwatch thread and see if anyone has any thoughts.Seven years ago, snap lake, was shared 3 ways by winspear, antler resources, and aber. Aber and winspear were in talks to merge and on the morning of the final negotiations winspear merged with antler thereby giving the new winspear resources controlling interest. Aber was not happy about this and there were a lot of bruised egos. Upon speaking with my friend I believe that aber is spinning off its other find to Franco-Nevada (who now controls 10% of aber) and will use the cash for a hostile takeover of winspear which they realize is a much richer find. This is not fact but only a belief after discussions with my friend.
This will be an exciting ride and as I have stated before when I asked my friend if winspear will hit $40.00/sh his response was "on the way up it will". Hold on to your shares and enjoy the ride.
sincerely drj
