I also just caught a segment on CNBC where they were talking about how Internet companies are faring as they report their earnings. They talked about AMZN and EGGS together as two Internet companies with very similar business models. They mentioned how both still had losses but that their business models where very good and that they should both do well over the long term. Additionally, it was mentioned that EGGS had recently become a virtual store on the net and that they where now selling many more items above and beyond the typical p.c. related products they use to sell in the brick and mortar days.

This is the first time I have seen EGGS compared favorably with AMAZ (as a peer) and the point made that their business model is essentially the same. It is also the first time I have seen it mentioned that EGGS is now selling all kinds of products and continuing to add more. All of this, IMO, was mentioned in a very positive and objective manner (remember this is CNBC "the net" bashers). I can honestly say it got me thinking that I should be adding more shares if this stock pulls back a bit.
