I agree. But I also think that IATV cannot allow itself to be VHS-ed out of the market, or Windows-ed or DOS-ed, etc. etc. by inferior products.

It is a very good thing for IATV that the cable operators and Mr. Malone are very aware of Mr Gates' strategies and tactics and will not allow themselves to be CE-ed or whatever other junk Gates and Co tries to stuff into our boxes one more time.

At some point marketing must play its effective role is my sole point.

Ron, i've never suggested exclusivity. Actv can hit a grand slam without being the only interactive application.
Liberty's other set-top jewel @Home just paid $7.5 billion!!! for Excite.
They had almost no exclusivity. Just 5 million registered sometime users. Actv will have far more users.

Art
