The article says, "By 1130 CST/1730 GMT, the equity put-call ratio at the Chicago Board Options Exchange, the biggest options market, registered 0.36, ..."

But the following chart shows a ratio between 0.5 and 0.6.

Why?

Best wishes,

Justa or others: Do you know what exactly a neutral or "normal" put/call ratio is? Between Bob, too much bullish sentiment, Brazil and EBAY and its manic friends I feel like I'm about to go around a corner and get blindsided by the market. I've been raising some cash but foolishly in hindsight put some in MRK just before they fell on a drug disappointment that Bob talked about. I'll hold it though since I bought it for what I think is going to be a huge blockbuster drug later this year though it's no surprise to anyone
