Jim, considering the size of CPQ now (Dec+Av)an increase in accounts receivable does not seem too odd. There is no evidence of factoring yet. I am not an accountant so maybe you can shed more light on this subject. Thanks in advance.

jim: I'll wait until I have more information before assessing your whole critique.

However, running through your and some other criticisms of CPQ is the theme that some of its success is due to the DEC acquistion. You want to assess it as though it were merely a box-maker rival to DELL.

As a shareholder I'm glad the DEC acquisition has worked and glad that CPQ is less reliant on a narrow range of boxes than it was before.
