Sales of the Pokemon video are still doing well. In fact, the video moved up to number 14 in the 1/99 sales rankings from 15th place in 12/98. To my great dismay, however, Pokemon sales are now behind Teletubbies (I hate them even more than Ken Starr).
This list comes from the Washington Post.

Bulba,
That is certainly good news on the new cartoon. I only wish we stock holders could find out what the terms of the deal were. Will that mean higher than expected earnings? Either way, it is a win for KIDE. Compared to my other holdings (Dell, Intel, Microsoft), this one isn't in the same league but with such a low PE ratio, I think we have a good chance to see the teens this spring.

Feb. should be an exciting month with toy release and now Sat morning cartoon. I can see it now, Hasbro will surely be advertising the new plush dolls during the cartoon. Bad news is my kids will probably whine until I buy them their favorite pokemon characters. Oh well, consider it investing in the company's future.
