This is in response to Kumar's statement about Altavista being just another search engine. I have been online for about 4 years. Altavista was the most technically powerful engine on the net back then and probably still is. Yahoo and others have cashed in on their interface. If Altavista can create a catchy interface with AOL type features, I think it could become the most popular search engines out there. Did anyone read the numbers on Altavista? They increased their hits by a huge percentage since late fall. Chris P.
