UPDATE:

WAVX -- good volume again today 2 to 3 times average -- gapped up at open -- then the MM's walked it down again -- but once again closed strong -- Company presentation on February 3rd in front of Wall Street Forum -- will add exposure to Analysts and brokers -- expecting relisting on NASDAQ by end of first quarter -- and I still expect news -- my guess is within a few days after Wall Street Forum presentation. I reinterate my short term target of $10 -- and look for $50 long term (one year to 18 months) Patience with this one will be rewarded.

ALU -- It remains a strong value/internet play -- FY99 earnings in March are EST at 83 cents -- so at $11.50 -- trading at embarassingly tiny PE -- and all signs point to IPO of FragranceCounter.com later this year. I expect this one to start moving up as we enter February and move closer to earnings and the announcement of FC IPO -- this one should move to very high teens just on earnings growth -- but could easily turn into a DBCC/MKTW situation. I think this is a buy for earnings and then a let it run for IPO.

Voluntary disclosure -- I own both WAVX entered at 3 15/16 and ALU

Comments on Picks or suggestions that are not mine -- but that I own or follow:

AKLM -- there is no doubt in my mind that this one should climb to the High Teens (an optimist could make a case for 20 -- I am not that optimistic but close) in the relative near term (Most likely within the next 60 days) It has done (or is doing its usual sell-off thing after earnings) could fall a little more -- but I don't think so. Recently the Company announced the delay till next quarter of South Park and TUROK2 for the PC. The TUROK2 delay was announced today and may have had something to do with the dip in price -- the Market is misreading this News. The delay of both these games is extremely bullish for this stock -- Electronic Game companies manage their earnings growth by moving release dates for games -- By delaying these two games into next quarter's earnings AKLM is signaling that they have already met and exceeded earnings for the current quarter -- believe me if AKLM was gonna come up short on earnings this quarter -- these two games would have been shipped. Management has done a great job of turning the company around -- rewards on this one will be delivered in the next two months -- A word of caution if you get in this one -- think hard about getting out by the end of March -- almost all of these companies are dead money from April to about September -- 80% of all gains come in the run-up to Christmas and the March reporting period.

Voluntary Disclosure I own AKLM entered at 8
