Thanks Chuzz well Im just getting into really analyzing these financial statements because as a strategic planner I was actually discouraged from looking into the numbers when I was working, so its all new to me. I just have a gut feeling about this.... hate to admit it but thats all it is! Well good numbers for cpq in this case = good numbers for Dell at any rate since cpq is not stealing mkt share from Dell - no way.

Chuzz- Ironically, Kumar's star began to flame out about the time that YOU jumped on his case last quarter...Not bad for a cat (who I know was not really using his claws...just snapping at the obvious)..

(In my final semi-defense of Kumar)...Despite our thoughts of Kumar, the rest of (analysts) are mostly "Kumar-1".. At least Kumar has the guts (lunacy?) to fully blow against the grain (at times), and make you think a little about why you (indeed) like the company...

The (whole) system would better (though obviously far from perfect)with (only) 1000 Kumar's vs. 1000 of the current group of "everything's peachy" analysts who spew the company line....nothing says we have to believe the EXTENT of Kumar's argument..

Maybe the lesson here is: Know your investments (or maybe better, Know Chuzzlewit <G>...Kumar certainly has forced me to think more than (many other analysts)..that is a good thing....oops...come to think of it, so did Lucretius (only a very little however)...I better end now....I think I am losing oxygen and fast....<gg>
