ya Gord cuz this boulder was AT THE BOTTOM of the pipe... trust me..

evrything above was eroded.. the pipe is gone.. only a remnant of the bottom of the pipe was left.. the boulder-with-wood

here's the leap : when a pipe emplaces pre-existing soil layers are reversed.. like in top-is-now-bottom type of thing..

weird but a fact.. so got an explanation to that one now !!
