Steve, you're a (conferedate) killer. Can you believe Im getting the same "Mr duh Mr bluh" ect served here in Europe (CNN)? I guess Pope was intended for the intermissions but the bloke just took the show. Berney, re Gold: Steve suggested to me buying mining companies, like Newmont or other biggies. My losses were bearable (g). If your friend wants to physically own gold, ie play Mr Goldfinger (who btw was, among other things, private gynecologist of QEII...) well, dont let him go for coins, they just have an obscene overhead and I do not think it would make a difference whether you have a Kruggerrand or a generic troy ounce in hard times. dj
