I found a EZ-scsi for dos/windows disk.

I have formatted removable SCSI MO media with various methodology. I have some discs that the 2940 controller believes to be unformatted. These discs were formatted using some other utility than the Adaptec utility. If I boot the machine with the disc in the drive Adaptec (EZ SCUSI 5.0) tells me the disc is unformatted. I can skip the warning, go to Explorer and use the drive!

The Blue Planet blue-planet.com has a good harddrive forum. They have a message search function (on the sidebar menu) you may want to try before posting.

Lynn, Hopefully you have solved your problem by now. Another good source for harddrive questions is storagereview.com . I only recently discovered they have a forum. Storage Review probably has more visitors than Blue Planet...better chance of finding someone with an answer.
