Lee,

>>>>> Why are so many people agreeing with us that a correction is coming soon? Pullbacks happen when the least number of people expect them. Market moves happen in the direcion that help the fewest gain the most <<<<<<

Last night after the 120 point runup, I was talking to a group of average investors and most of them were bullish. One of them did very well in MSFT and said he was going to margin more from his account to get more stocks. Of the 4 brokers I keep in touch all 4 suspect there may be some sort of pullback and 3 of them think that the pullback will be very small and they are still convincing customers to buy now. Only one of those brokers play index options.

So I feel that the SI group is more advance than the average, and in the bigger scheme of things we are the minority.

L3: I would like to think, that the participants of this thread are not your average Joe Six Pack. So conclusions on this and threads of specific investment disciplines (such as the P&F folks) do not necessarily mean the masses agree.

I believe that one of Orbits most recent post, included bull/bear polls where the bulls were the highest since before the 87 plunge.

I do not necessarily believe the upside is completely over and I am not expecting the bottom to fall out. However, I would not be chasing any rallies at this point. Prudent thinking would be suggesting a cautious posture at this time.
