Today is the day! Either Wilson PRODUCES or he will PERISH! Looks like the short interest had its last and best month of covering (I bet most covering was done the last week of 1998 when they were able to pick up all the cheap tax selling shares). Who has a motivation to sell now? All we have left is us die hard longs and the bottom fishers. Good luck all.

GR&St,

I need over 11 just to break even and I know of fellow members here who need to see numbers as high as the mid 20's to break even. I have been watching this stock get manipulated for one year now. I won't sell no matter what as I feel the fair value of this company is at least $12.00/share. I've waited one year now and if need be I'll wait another year. I have my sights focused and aimed at Wilson right now and I am just itching to pull the trigger!

I feel that the only thing really dragging this stock down is a great amount of contempt and dislike for its inept management which at this point means our CEO. We have a small biotech company which will now prove to be profitable. We have never had any real sales force marketing our product in the biggest market in the world and have had no presence in the second biggest market in the world (Japan) and have only had a small presence in the third biggest market in the world (Europe). I see to much future potential here in 1999 to give up on Vivus. I only wish that Leland Wilson would graciously step down and realize that his poor management skills have hurt Vivus more than Viagra.
