Short response:

Often times Market Makers will move only the bid before the open. I also recommend not buying THDO at the open. Every time 3DO has had volume, MM's have pumped it at open and it never fails to drop in price (at least momentarily) within 30'-1 hour. While this is not an uncommon occurrence (many have as a rule of thumb never to buy at open), it tends to occur to THDO more than others, esp. when the news is so little.
