GUMM - why this is so significant. The release of Zicam will no doubt be a huge windfall for several reasons,some of which are "duh-obvious". 1.Americans spend billions of dollars on cold remedies. The amount of other cold remedies needed will decrease, so individuals may actually save money by using Zicam. 2. For many hospitalized people, relatively bland infections such as the common cold are the precursors to so-called secondary infections that kill them. Immunosuppressed patients include AIDS patients,cancer patients both before & during chemotherapy, people with autoimmune diseases and transplant patients who undergo immunosuppression to allow their bodies accept/keep grafts. This medicine has the potential to save them from these bland "primary" infections, so that the secondary infections do not occur. This has the potential, frankly, of saving lives, not to mention the savings in the expensive drugs needed to treat secondary infections (usually intravenous, usually very xpensive, and also with toxicities of their own). 3. Many strains of viruses cause the "common cold". The reason why no good vaccinations xist is because the viruses are different and thus many,many vaccines would be necessary. Also, vaccines are directed against viral antigens that may change by mutation. Zicam works by blocking the receptor to which most viruses attach. Therefore, the extent of infection is inherently limited by using Zicam. ZICAM - Let's clear up a few things!!! 1. ZICAM is in stores NOW! I called the number on the ZICAM.COM number and was told in my area that Albertson'a and Rite Aid would carry the product.. I called my local Albertson's and asked them if they had it. After I told the person that it was ZICAM, a nasal spray for treating colds, she found it and my wife picked it up. It is real and we purchased it for less than $12. 2. I HAVE A PACKAGE OF ZICAM! 3. You may view my scanned images of Zicam's wrapper, container, box and package insert at the website below. (Please forgive me for also not scanning the product itself - I try to keep liquids off my scanner): uia.net Summary: Zicam is here now, GUMM makes huge money from Zicam, distribution is a moot point (I had no trouble getting it).

Where do you see the open tomorrow? And why the loss on the day today? I remember hearing about this type of remedy about a year ago but at the time it was predicted that FDA approval would cause delay in its release to the general public. Street Walker: My hat's off. Thank you for discovering this gem and sharing it with us. Some street-smart ( Message 7409466 ???, actually NOT!) people thought that you were hyping the stock with repetitive posts. The truth is a slow learner like me ( Message 7433337 ) got in early on with the hype :-O))) <ggg>. Well, we shall see how it rocks. One not so happy story is that my limit order to buy 2500 for 13 3/8 at 3:58 PM was not filled. I am kicking self for not having put the market order... Oh well, I will just hold tight what I already have for the night. I hope you veterans go slow tomorrow till I add more shares to my position. Go GUMM.
