Hi stock talk,

Computers are kind of dumb. When you go searching for news items they sort of pull up everything that has that name in it. I suspect if you mention Intel, IBM and Microsoft in every press release, it tends to go a lot more places. If S3 is doing this on purpose, it's fairly clever marketing. Even if it's being done by accident, at least they're following through with PR promised in the CC for a change. Aside from driver problems with the original Savage release, slow sales can at least be partly chalked up to piss poor marketing. We used to go months and months without a single scrap of news out of the company. As I remember, the advertising blitz for the Savage release was one ad in a computer magazine a couple months before the chip was available. Looks like things are being done a little differently for a change.

Regards,

Don
