Picked this up from the Dell Thread: Trffflette, AGreenspan on CNBC right now: A senator asked him about" is Internet stock buying a mania ?". AG said, " well senator, there would not be a mania unless there was something very attractive under it. And it looks like e-commerce is the wave of the future. So people see this GIANT PIE IN THE SKY and are willing now to pay a premium on it. It is like a lottery ticket: per se it has no value as a piece of paper. But you are willing to pay$10 for it because you are looking at the potential wins down the line ". I like that quote about e-commerce is the wave of the future. Checkfree should be the processor of the bills and payments for that wave.
